Great Southern Rail Trail Update (Victoria)

The next section of The Great Southern Rail Trail between Meeniyan and Stony Creek should be completed in the next 6-8 weeks, weather permitting. This section will be suitable for walking, all bicycles, horses and wheelchairs. The terrain will be generally flat and the surface will be an excellent quality smooth gravel as is the Leongatha to Koonwarra section. This is a picturesque part of Victoria and being only 120km south-east of Melbourne it is a great recreational facility to use.
